Before our very detailed video games were around, video games were just pixels. Positions in the right spot to look like things and people. Before Nintendo became a very successful game company, it produced card games and such all over Japan. In the 1970’s a joystick like control was made. It held some of the arcade classics such as Asteroids. Then came your video game machine at the arcades all around Japan. And the stars of the first arcade machine were of course Nintendo’s mascot Mario along with Donkey Kong and Mario’s girlfriend Princess Peach. You have three lives and you have to get to the top of a slanted platform to save your girlfriend from a big ape AKA Donkey Kong.

And here’s the reason the mustached mascot has a giant nose and a mustache.

DS Accessories-

Every five to six years a new generation of video game systems or consoles hit the market. They have the latest disc drives and technology and the coolest looks whether it stands straight up , lays down or is hand held. And they are capable of doing things with graphics and artificial intelligence that was unimaginable a few years before. Christmas 2006 thousands of people camped out at a local Best Buy or Circuit City just to get to the newest gaming systems first. But what video game console is the hottest? Is it Nintendo Wii? Microsoft’s Xbox 360? Or Sony’s PlayStation 3?

During Christmas 2006 More than 1 million of Microsoft’s Xbox 360s were sold. The same year Nintendo’s hard to get a hold of Wii sold 600,000. And Sony sold half a million PlayStation 3s. The Xbox 360 cost $400. And The Nintendo Wii cost $250. And The PlayStation 3 was $600. Even though

10. The Sims 2 is a very popular teen game. You create your character and play a virtual life. Make friends go to parties, clubs or just out for a walk. You can date and get married. So you can start your own family. And watch as they grow from babies to young adults. The Sims 2 if for PC and rated M for Mature. And has adult content.

9. Killzone is a first-person shooter. And supports up to 16 players. You can play against bots or other people. Or you can play the single player campaign. Killzone is for PS2 and is rated M for mature. Because of the following; Blood, Strong Language and Violence.

8. Eternal Sonata is a RPG (Role-Playing Game). With cartoon graphics. And Eternal Sonata has you running around and fighting enemies. Eternal Sonata is for Xbox 360. It is rated T for Teen. Reasons; Fantasy Violence, Mild Language and Use of alcohol.

7. Diddy Kong Racing is a a racing game full of tasks. You have to unlock most of the characters but you can drive boats, planes or cars. It needs some getting used to but you’ll get it. Diddy Kong Racing is for DS and is rated E for everyone. And is a good game.

6. Wii Sports is an interactive game that comes with your Wii. And includes Boxing, Tennis, Golf, Baseball and Bowling. You have to preform actions that you would in real life. Since the Wii is an interactive video game system. But you need to strap on your Wii remote unless you wanna buy a new Wii and TV! Wii Sports is rated E for everyone.

5.The Orange Box includes Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Portal is a strategy game in which you shoot portals to get to the exit.Team Fortress two has 3D cartoon like graphics and mainly it’s shooting. And Half-Life 2: Episode 2 continues from Half-Life 2. All the games in the Orange Box is rated M for Mature. Reasons: Blood and Gore, Intense Violence and Language.

4. My Horse and Me is a game where you take care of your own virtual horse. You can train, groom, feed, bathe and ride your horse. My Horse And Me is for Nintendo DS and is rated E for Everyone.
