Field Ops is a first-person shooter and real-time strategy. The story goes like this. A failed coup d’etat on the island has split the country in two and Santiago de Cuba has become the new base for the rebels. Your task in one mission is to head over to a checkpoint outside a ruined church and sit tight while reinforcements made their way to you. Once you accomplish that you are required to make your way over to the building that the rebel leader was holed up in and capture him by eliminating his troops. Simple objectives but hard accomplishments.
With dusty, mazy streets and rebel soldiers hiding around every corner. Playing Field Ops in first-person mode and only zooming back out so often to get your medic to heal you. And your troop can’t take many bullets. Also even those soldiers are equipped with half decent weapon scopes wouldn’t win prizes for their quality of their aiming. Field Ops is a pretty hard game especially when you are out numbered by visible enemies and ones you can’t see. I do not yet know the release date.
