Killzone 2

The background story of Killzone 2 is that your character is a member of the Legion. A special forces unit called to assist in the invasion of the Helghan capital city. In one scene of Killzone 2 your character and a bunch of military types were being dropped into a hot zone. Mean while a huger weapon known as the arc fires deadly lightning bolts into the sky. Taking out drop ships left and right. And once you get to the first checkpoint you are given a mission to destroy the arc.

Which is killing your drop ships.Killzone 2 does have bosses. Except they are called heavies. Which are monstrous soldiers armed with massive chain guns. To kill them you have to shoot your weapon at their head, sending them spending around so you can shoot their weak spots. Such as their gas tanks. Killzone 2’s graphics are supposed to kick butt. And will be out in 2008.
