Nintendo Wii??

About 3 months ago, I bought a nintendo wii in singapore, asia. We got the wii sports game free. When we came back to ireland, it was working fine.
Just today however, I bought the first game in ireland, only to see its not working!!! tryed a few other peoples games as well - same situation!!! After the guy i bought it from said thee would be absolutely no problem. —i guess you cant trust them.
Anyway, do you know of anyway i can get this to work here?? is there a wire, or does it need to be modified or something???
Any help appreciated!!!!
How do i modify it???

how do i get my xbox to work in pal 60?

why xbox 360 game cost 60 bucks for used only dvd? Why Sony game use blu-ray disk cost the same?
