It’s simply a pride thing. If someone where to come up and say they were better than you at something that you felt was a personal talent of yours, then you probably wouldn’t be very happy about it. This goes for serious gamers as well. They simply feel that since they spent their money on a certain system, and are good at operating on that system that they have to defend its pride, even if the Playstation 3 is better. In your question you say that you love all 3, but you probably understand how each persons opinion can be biased based on the one they own now that you have a PS3.
