Gaming Facts
Duke Nukem 3D, also released in 1996, was the first game using what proved to be the most popular engine of the decade (12 released titles), Ken Silverman's Build engine. Build was outwardly similar to Doom's engine, but the internals (and many engine features) were radically new and different. The game itself was a new take on the shooter, with main character Duke characterizing himself by way of witty, egotistical one-liners and interaction with all sorts of goofy objects, from blowing up urinals to tossing cash at strippers. Duke, and Build, are also notable for having one of the simplest map editors of any 3D game ever made. Blood was similar to Duke Nukem, using the Build engine, but had a totally different setting as well as a very strange atmosphere.

PS - the odds are NCAA will be an 08 release, If I remember it came out in August 06.
There’s probably not going to be an NCAA 07 because well, the BCS game is already played, so it would be kind of pointless to release the game now.
But I’m sure that there will be an NCAA 08 later this year.
Good games for the PS3: Resistance.
Also good, but you might have it on other systems: Madden 07, Fight Night Round 3, Tony Hawk Project 8, Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
Stay away from Gundam. This employee (Dan) at the Cambridgeside Galleria EBgames in Boston tried to get me to buy the game on launch saying how good the game was. Well, he’s a liar. The game sucks. Glad I didn’t listen to his advice. Gamepro gave it a 1.0/5.0. I should photocopy it and shove it in his face.
This game isn’t going to be out for PS3. It is out for PS2, PSP, and Xbox 360. I would definately predict that NCAA Football 08 will be out for PS3, but in the meantime you can buy the NCAA 07 for ps2, and play that one on your PS3.
