Playstation 3 or Xbox 360?

Look Dude don't listen to these fanboys I'll give the full run up. if you want X-box360 you should wait for the Elite(it's black though.Chrome finish) which will be coming around late september I think.

the stuffs, It'll have 120GB,and all accesories that were in the premium and a HDMI cable(which is great because the premium didn't have it and you had to have lots of wires to make it 1080p) and I think it also already has the DVD remote? probably it'll be at around $699 Plus X-box360 games are priced at $60 and if you played Halo 1 and 2 then you should know that Halo 3 is coming this september 25.

the PS3 it'll be a little more pricey but you'd get superb hardware inside the PS3 only 60GB though but there's gonna be an 80GB version soon though games are priced at $70+. so if you're a guy who wants to save up on cash and get more games the X-box360 is for you but if you're willing to spend then PS3 is great too plus don't forget MGS4 will be coming 2008 though it ain't really certain that it'll be an Exclusive to PS3.

in the long run PS3 will have a lot of games lined up though it doesn't mean X-box360 won't have great line ups for 2008 too. it's your decision in the end I'm just giving you what you need to know about both. if you want to learn more about both of them you could check out www.gamespot.com to see the full system information. don't worry the site is user friendly and you can search for it very easily in that site.
