Guitar Hero was just a jam session compared to Rock Band. As rhythm game fans are aware, Rock Band will flesh the core Guitar Hero concept out into a full band experience, featuring lead guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Rock Band has special guitar and drum controllers plus a mic. Which means Rock Band will either come with the controllers plus mic which I doubt. Or you have to buy them separately. If you are playing the drummer your notes or tracks will appear in the middle of the screeen.

Which mean between the two guitar tracks.

A solid line will appear on the drummers track only. The solid line indicates that you need to hit the bass drum pedal. And the song will run on the top of the screen. Using a style like Karaoke Revolution and SingStar. And singers will be able to hit the mic with their hands to pretend it’s a tambourine or a cowbell for some songs. And if you are wondering if there is any room left for more features. You can never forget the denim jackets, mohawks and flaming frets between all the gameplay.
