While the previous games in this series have been fps (first-person shooter) and on PC, SWAT: Target Liberty takes a big top-down perspective. There is more than just fighting in SWAT, before each mission you will have about four officers to choose from. They are not all the same, they each have their own unique talents and weapons. At the ending of each mission you will earn points depending on how good or bad you did. These points can be used to upgrade your officer. In SWAT: Target Liberty there is a multiplayer mode. In which a maximum of four players can play . And ten pre-designed maps to play on.
SWAT: Target Liberty is set in New York City and it’s surrounding areas. And the missions take place in places such as Grand Central Station and Ellis and Coney Islands.
SWAT: Target Liberty combat is not entirely automated but does make a signification. So if you enter a room containing enemies, each of them will be flagged with one of the PSP face buttons. So if you fire at an enemy with the square button just hit the square button (really it’s that simple, imagine that just hitting the correct button). Each and every mission has a random enemy placement so you can’t remember where they are. It’s do to be released this month so keep an eye out.
