Xbox (old not 360) for 60 dollars with 2 controllers and halo 2 good deal?

Personally, I wouldn’t do it because the XBX is dead. It’s not getting any new games, so you don’t be playing new games. You could just use that 60 bucks toward a 360, which can play Halo 2.

But if you want an XBX, then go for it. It’s a good deal.

pretty good deal i would have to say…

3 reasons why.

1. If u dont like the original xbox, gamestop is usually open to getting used systems. I’m not sure of the price of a xbox, but i think its definitely more than ur buying price, and with 2 controllers, its a pretty fine deal.
2. HALO 2 is already about half the cost of the deal already; jeez its still $30 new, even after halo 3 comes out and the hype has ended. Check if the edition is used or not tho; if its scratched a lot, i would still take the deal for the original xbox, but imo, this is a dream deal 4 even me.
3. 2 words: Xbox Live. The service still has a vibrant halo 2 community, and gameplay is cross-platform with the 360 as long as ure on live. I have met a lot of new friends over halo 2 on the original xbox, and i bet a lot of ur friends can play with u as well. One caveat: if most of them have 360’s, messages sent from halo 2 can’t be read by them easily; they have to get into halo 2 in order to hear ur msgs

Overall, this is a very good deal, and i would definitely buy it if i were u. However, sometimes deals aren’t what they seem. Definitely check the disc and controllers for quality. I got 3 controllers from my buddy; 2 of them actually burned their wires out. So be careful buddy when checking the quality
